Unforgettable tour with local guide Luiz
I had an incredible experience touring Rocinha favela today with Luiz as my guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, exceptionally kind, and showed so much passion and energy throughout the entire walk. He gave great insights into the community and culture while ensuring everything felt safe and respectful. I highly recommend taking a tour with Luiz if you are visiting Rio de Janeiro—5/5 stars!

Very interesting
Luiz was very open about the history and ever aspect about the favela. No censored and well explained in english. We also felt very safe with him as he lives there and knows how to walk through it. Thank you

Excellent
Luis gave us an experience we will never forget. He showed us around and had real inside stories because he lives in the neigjbourhood. We never felt unsafe. I think the Favela is a must see to k ow what Rio is really about. I would really reccomend Luis!

Great glimpse into Favela life
Luiz was great Tour Guide, from the start on! He checked on us because we were running a bit late and introduced us to Important rules before entering the Favela. Here we got interesting insights that I wished the Tour would be even longer. He checked on us at every street and stop and made sure we're okay. Thanks! Best from Berlin :)

Great tour
Luiz is an insider with humor and has allot to tell. He guides the group through the alleys in a safe way and explains all the background about the Favelas and the community. His English is perfect and the small group makes the tour unique.

Excellent experience with Luiz! Luiz was an exceptional guide during our visit to the favela in Rio. He was very kind, open, and professional, and he took the time to answer all of our questions with great care. His explanations were clear, interesting, and very helpful in understanding the daily reality of the people who live there and the social context of the neighborhood. Thanks to him, the tour was enriching, respectful, and authentic. We highly recommend Luiz to anyone looking for a meaningful and educational experience in Rio.
