Really great tour

Such a great tour. Maaffar is a very eloquent, intelligent and well-travelled guide. He understands his audience and knows how to pitch the talk. He really brought Marrakech alive for us and gave us so many cultural insights that we would otherwise not have had. His tour changed our whole week for the better and we’re so glad we went on it early in our stay. Highly recommend! We discovered so many parts of the city which are well beyond the normal tourist route.

An Excellent Experience

My afternoon with Houcine was one of the most remarkable experiences of my trip to Morocco. Going beyond all expectations, Houcine made me feel as though I was walking around with a very close friend—one who is incredibly knowledgeable about Marrakesh’s history and culture, passionate about his country and work, and genuinely down to earth. I felt truly grateful for how helpful and welcoming he was. It was almost as if he gave words to the scenes of Marrakesh for me, opening up a whole new chapter that would have remained completely unknown had I never met him. Houcine maintained a wonderful balance between sharing information and walking around. The hour-long tour felt like a mere moment because of how much fun and enjoyment I had! He also recommended several places to visit, and I found his insights particularly useful when I visited one of the places he had suggested later on. I have never enjoyed a walking tour so much. By the end of it, I genuinely felt as though I was saying goodbye to a friend whom I would love to see again. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend - Marrakesh Medina tour

Maaffar took us on a 3h tour through the medina of Marrakesh and shared a lot of insights about the what to look out for while shopping in the souks, how people live in Marrakesh and many more things. Highly recommend, if you want to get a good overview of the Medina.

Maaffar walking tour

Excellent and enjoyable full morning experience. Perhaps a little long for oldies like us with dodgy backs but well worth doing. Maaffar intelligent and interesting and very much seems to enjoy his work. Also extremely helpful a day or so later when we whatsapped him for details of local moroccan hammans

Perfect way to get your bearings!

We had only been in Marrakesh for about 12 hours when we began this tour, and we are so grateful this was the first thing we did! Maaffar did an amazing job helping us figure out how to navigate the Medina, providing a wonderful balance telling us about Moroccan history and culture. He passionate about teaching people about a country he is clearly very proud of! We learned so much! Couldn't recommend more highly!

Best experience during marocco trip

Maaffar was a fantastic guide, who gave us useful insights for our Marrakech vacation. He is incredibly well educated and showed us places we would have never gone to without him. Also, the restaurant 'Dar Lamine Sebbrah' he recommended, was incredible - a really authentic experience!
