Somos Sofía y George, dos lugareños que crecimos en Hanoi la mayor parte de nuestras vidas y sentimos un profundo amor por esta ciudad tan especial. Nuestro objetivo es compartir con todo el mundo la vibrante vida, las interesantes historias y las joyas ocultas de Hanoi desde una perspectiva local.

Qué esperar:
En Hanói se mezclan las raíces antiguas, la influencia colonial francesa y un rápido auge económico a finales de los 80. Este recorrido a pie le ofrece ver las diferencias entre las calles adyacentes y ordenadas del Barrio Francés y las calles desordenadas y estrechas del Barrio Antiguo. Comenzamos nuestro recorrido viendo lugares coloniales franceses como el Banco Estatal de Vietnam, el Palacio Tonkin y la Ópera.

Luego continuamos hacia el lago Hoan Kiem para escuchar una historia legendaria y lo que lo hace especial. A continuación nos dirigimos hacia el casco antiguo, explorando la bulliciosa calle, para conocer qué lo hace tan especial entre los lugareños y los turistas. Al final del recorrido, nos detendremos en el puente Long Bien, el más emblemático de Hanói, que lleva en pie más de 120 años.

Hidden Gems of Hanoi with Nguyen D.

Nguyen was honestly the best guide ever — super chill, patient, and his English is spot‑on. He knows Hanoi like the back of his hand, from the history to the hidden gems and all the food spots you’d never find on your own. We tried Bánh Đa Cua (red noodles with crab paste), a crispy bánh rán (Vietnamese donut), Bánh cuốn (rice flour roll) and of course Trang Tien Ice Cream — the rice flake flavor is ????. He even took me to this secret bookstore that legit felt like walking into Harry Potter. If you’re in Hanoi and want good vibes, cool stories, and real local food, this tour is a total must.

Great free tour with Nguyen
