More than a historic site, Berat Castle is a living fortress, where ancient stone streets, centuries-old walls, and local life still exist side by side. Walk through charming cobblestone streets, explore impressive Illyrian walls, and discover the many layers of history that have shaped this remarkable place.

Along the way, admire beautiful Byzantine churches with remarkable frescoes and continue toward the Acropolis, the highest point of the castle, where the remains of early Ottoman mosques still tell their story.

One of the highlights of the tour is the panoramic viewpoint overlooking Berat, the famous City of a Thousand Windows, with unforgettable views over its historic neighborhoods, red rooftops, and the Osum River below.

In questo tour eravamo solo io e la mia ragazza, il che ha aiutato ad avere un'interazione perfetta con la guida. Ci ha spiegato ogni cm della città con un sacco di foto per i posti non accessibili. Molto preparato, simpatico e gentile. Tour obbligatorio da fare.
