Join me as we explore San Telmo, the historic heart of Buenos Aires. We’ll visit Parque Lezama and talk about the former Palacio Lezama and the Museo Histórico Nacional. We’ll also see the Monument to Argentine-Uruguayan Friendship and the monument to Pedro de Mendoza, the city’s founder.

Afterward, we’ll walk along Calle Defensa to Plaza Dorrego, known for its antiques and tango. We’ll visit the colonial house “Solar de French” and the Church of Nuestra Señora de Belén, where I’ll tell you about Pedro González Telmo—the patron saint of sailors and the namesake of the neighborhood.

Finally, we’ll explore the Mercado de San Telmo with its unique atmosphere. The tour is in German—perfect for anyone who wants to experience history in a lively way!
