Description

The tour will start in the surroundings of Plaza San Martín. Nearby, we will explore key places such as the Plaza Hotel, Edificio Kavanagh, Palacio Paz, and Palacio San Martín. In the Plaza, we will see the San Martín Monument. Afterwards, we will be walking through Santa Fe Avenue till we reach Avenida Nueve de Julio. We will cross Avenida Nueve de Julio and go to Alvear Avenue. There we will see different palaces such as Palacio Ortiz Basualdo, Palacio Duhau, etc. We will walk the whole avenue till its end in Plaza Francia. There, we will see Iglesia del Pilar, Recoleta Cemetery (from the outside), and Centro Cultural Recoleta. From there, we will go through the parks near Avenida del Libertador. We will see monuments and statues.
In case of rain umbrellas and pilots will be provided.

Wholesome walk through the historic center of Buenos Aires

The tour consists in a very pleasant walk through the most stunning 'lugares' of the city center, and Gerardo is a great guide, very professional and well-mannered. He showed us many pieces of history in the center and gave us information of all kinds: history, culture, society, art and architecture, as well as some fun facts about the places we've been.
