Authentic Tango in Almagro: Historical Tour with Music, Wine and Food

If you are looking to understand the true passion of tango, you won't find it in a big theater with neon lights. You must come to the neighborhood where Tango still lives: Almagro.

What will we do?

The Origin: We will start at the Abasto, the old central market that transformed the city with the arrival of Italian and Spanish immigrants.

The Legend: We will walk along Pasaje Zelaya and see Carlos Gardel's house. I will tell you the real story behind the most famous tango singer in the world.

El Gran Final: We will end the night in the heart of Almagro, in a bar that has been in operation since 1893 and has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

The Gastronomic and Musical Experience:

In this historic bar, we will sit like locals.

We will eat: the best homemade empanadas in town.

We will drink: Traditional Argentine wine.

Listen to: tango singers and guitarists performing acoustically (no microphones).
