Mendoza Profunda: Memory Tour and Social Struggles

Did you know that behind the irrigation ditches and squares of Mendoza hides a history of resistance and secrets? In this tour we move away from the traditional circuit to discover the political and social memory of the city.

Milestones of the tour:

- Plaza San Martin: Scene of a historic assassination and refuge of the rounds of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo.

- Plaza Independencia: The heart of the popular demonstrations.

- Traces of Time: We will visit the old Government House and the Civic Neighborhood, where we will recall the "Mendozazo" on the steps of the current government headquarters.

- Espacio para la Memoria (Ex D2): We will finish in what was the most important clandestine detention center in the province, today transformed into a place of reflection.
