Bratislava Day Trip from Vienna: Guided Old Town & Lunch

You leave Vienna Main Train Station at 9:50 AM on a public Slovak Lines bus. Your bus ticket is sent by email after booking. You arrive at Bratislava Most SNP bus station at 11:20 AM and have some free time before you meet your licensed local guide at 12:00 in front of the Park Inn Danube Hotel, about 250 m from the station.

The one-hour walk takes you through the old town: the Opera House, the Old Town Hall, Michael's Gate and St. Martin's Cathedral, with stories from Bratislava's time as a capital of the Hungarian part of the Habsburg Empire to the Second World War. After the tour your guide takes you to a local restaurant and helps you order a traditional two-course lunch.

The afternoon is yours to explore. The return bus leaves Most SNP at 6:08 PM and arrives in Vienna at 7:25 PM.
