Description

Begin your tour at the Bruck an der Leitha wind farm, a model for regional, climate-friendly electricity generation. Climb the 60-meter-high internal spiral staircase with your guide. After 279 steps, reach the top and watch the turbine blades in the all-round glazed platform turning wind power into a rotary motion to generate electricity.

The wind farms are located around 45 km from Vienna, in the district of Bruck an der Leitha. In the picturesque landscape between the Danube, Leitha, and vineyards, is a relaxing paradise that perfectly complements the generation of clean electricity.
