Description

Discover natural amazing nature, stories, and harbour views on this walking tour of Sydney’s Royal Botanical Gardens!

Our story begins at the striking Bara sculpture, where we learn how Indigenous Australians lived sustainably from land and sea for thousands of years.
Strolling through the gardens, we meet intriguing native and introduced plants, each with its own story — from early scientific discovery to global exploration. We learn about early encounters between Europeans and Australia’s unique wildlife, the hungry origins of Australia's first farm, caves where Indigenous people sheltered, and much more.

At Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, we savour one of Sydney’s most iconic harbour views.
We sip a drink at a cafe in the heart of the gardens, then end with a short walk back to Circular Quay.

I manage the group's size to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time. If bookings are closed, it means the tour is full. Please only come if you have a booking.
