Excellent Antwerp tour.
Arie was a fantastic guide. Informative & great sense of humour. His historical knowledge was extensive. We even got free entry to a stunning Jesuit church. A super experience.

Perfect except for the weather
Gaston was personable and very well informed and had us learning about the ‘golden age’ of Antwerp for two hours of very easy walking. We gave him 20 euros and I hope everyone else did too.

GREAT TOUR for a 1st time
OVERALL, the tour was nicely planned, highlighting the must-see in the city of Antwerp, the legends behind certain places, and the signification of certain symbols. Gaston did an incredible job at helping us navigate the city by going back in time. For our 1st time in Antwerp, we enjoyed the tour and, more importantly, the city. However, my only contempt with what was shared during the tour is regarding the part where he talked about when the Moors came to Spain. A quick search and dive into history goes to tell a different story than the one he shared: the Jews that lived in Spain were not driven out of there because of the moors. Rather, the Christian Reconquista culminated in 1492, when Ferdinand and Isabella conquered Granada, the last Muslim-ruled kingdom in Iberia. That same year, they issued the Alhambra Decree, expelling Jews who refused to convert to Christianity. Portugal followed in 1496–1497, forcing Jews to convert or leave. I hope that this part gets corrected because the way it was told carries so much prejudice and misinformation about what really happened in history.

Full of passion and love for the city
The tour was very well planned, hilighting many landmarks of Antwerp and giving insightful stories of the city. Luc B was a great tour guide and his love for people and the city was clear from the start! Thanks for the wonderful time!!
