At the Groentenmarkt, uncover the playful “War of the Noses” and the story of Tierenteyn mustard, before learning how Neuhaus helped invent the world-famous Belgian praline.
Then explore the colorful origins of Ghent’s vibrant Graffitistraatje, where modern creativity transforms ancient walls.

On the historic Vrijdagmarkt, once the political heart of the city, you’ll discover stories of rebellion, trade, and public life.
