Amazing time with Eduardo
The tour is absolutely worth the time! The stories, the food, the environment, and then amazing guide—all were superb.

Knowledgeable Guide with Great Character
Eduardo is bright, charismatic, and knowledgeable. He beautifully frames the history of Brazil, Portugal, Western Europe, South America, and Slavery and how they intertwine together to form modern-day Rio. This is all happening while wrapping everything into a fun food tour culminating with a lovely stop at Gigoia Island. The food we had was delicious, given the backstory and its importance to the region, which made the meal that much more enjoyable. The first meal we had was the best thing I've eaten in Rio. It was very hot, and I would recommend headwear, water, and sunglasses. I would happily recommend any tour with Eduardo

Food and Fun Facts
Eduardo really knows his history! Even though I’ve lived in Rio for 2.5 years, I still learned many new facts. I highly recommend the tour.

Great Food and History Tour
Eduardo was a fantastic guide. His explanation of the area and history of Barra da Tijuca and the foods we ate were very animated and informative. I highly recommend this tour, we ate some great food and had some good conversation. Well worth it!!
