Great introduction to Chinese culture

We enjoyed this tour very much because we learned a lot about Taoism, a little known religion, but with many links to famous things from China, like Yin and Yang and Tai Chi. The visit to the food market was an experience, not least due to a nice and good guide, who led us great through the food market and stopped and told about specialties from Schiaun. After the trip was over, we ended with a hot pot at the local street restaurant.

Highly recommend

Wonderful tour. We were taken to a great local market and got to taste local specialities. Haoqi was lovely and knowledgable. She also recommended a local theatre performance which was sooo incredible and helped us book tickets! Would recommend for tourists.

Really cool tour

Chengdu is a bit overwhelming to the first time tourist. Haoqi's tour of the market brings it down to a human scale and her English is so great and her knowledge so extensive she explains everything beautifully. It made me feel comfortable about using the metro and going off to explore other parts of the city by myself. It was the perfect introduction to the city and thanks to her guidance I got to sample some very unique Sichuan food. I can't praise her enough, thank you so much Haoqi!

Authentic Market Experience & Good palace tour

Loved the tour! For anyone who really likes Sichuan food I think it is a great local experience. The market we were taken to seemed very authentic (local people going about everyday) and it was a great experience to learn more about Sichuan cuisine and snacks. The palace tour was also very nice, visiting alone would be a 5-10 minute experience but with the info from Haoqi it was great. 10/10
