The Best Way to Experience the Real Guangzhou ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Guangzhou! I've joined food tours in different cities, and this one felt especially authentic. Instead of touristy spots, our guide introduced us to local dishes while sharing the history and culture behind them. The coconut chicken soup was delicious—light, comforting, and naturally sweet from the fresh coconut. The biggest surprise for me was the fish skin salad. I never would have ordered it myself, but it ended up being my favorite dish because of its unique texture and refreshing flavor. I also loved walking through Beijing Road. It was fascinating to learn that this has been Guangzhou's city center for over 2,000 years and to see the preserved ancient roads from different dynasties beneath the modern street. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience both fun and informative. I left with a full stomach, a better understanding of Guangzhou, and several local foods I never would have discovered on my own. Highly recommended!
