Discover the Magic of Beijing.History, culture and hidden gems!

What an unforgettable experience! ❤️ Our free walking tour of Beijing was absolutely fantastic, thanks to our incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable guide, who brought the city’s rich history and traditions to life. From the very beginning, we felt comfortable asking questions and discovering fascinating stories about Beijing’s past and present. The beautiful park offered stunning views and plenty of opportunities for memorable photos. Exploring the traditional hutongs was a real highlight, giving us a fascinating glimpse into the daily lives of local families and the charm of old Beijing. The tour became even more special as we ended our walk by the lake in the late afternoon and early evening. The golden light, beautiful reflections on the water, and charming streets created an almost magical atmosphere. We even learned how the emperor used to obtain ice from the lake during winter — such a fascinating piece of history! The little market stalls surrounding the lake added even more charm to this lovely experience. One of the most intriguing discoveries was learning how traditional door knobs and stone wheels at the entrances of old homes could reveal a family’s heritage and social status. These small but meaningful details made us appreciate Beijing’s architecture and cultural traditions on a whole new level. A huge thank you to our wonderful guide for sharing so much knowledge, answering our questions, and making history so engaging and enjoyable. This tour was the perfect blend of history, culture, beautiful scenery, and authentic local life. If you’re visiting Beijing and want to discover more than just the famous landmarks, this walking tour is an absolute must! ???? It’s an enriching, memorable, and truly special way to experience the heart and soul of the city. Five stars without a doubt — an experience we’ll remember long after leaving Beijing! ????????❤️
