Description

What better way to explore this great city than by having an Indigenous inhabitant tell you stories about the history and evolution of this great city? I am a local Shanghainese, born here, and have lived here all my life.

The French Concession is the area of Shanghai that the French government administered from 1849 until 1946. The area's tree-lined avenues and many fine old houses still retain an air of the “Paris of the East.” In particular, the many wrought iron fences and stair railings will look familiar to anyone who knows Paris. Highlights of the Tour:

The tour will end at Xintiandi. Last-minute bookings are possible, and bookings are open until the start of the tour! Free tours do not have a set price. Instead, each person gives the guru the amount that he or she considers appropriate at the end of the tour. The recommended tips usually range from 150 yuan per person to 300 yuan per person, depending on satisfaction with the tour.

Nice tour of French Concession
