Personal Tour with Katerine

Katerine gave us an amazing (personal) tour through getsemani. She told us a lot not only about cartagena but also the whole Country and their manners and traditions . Her english is extremly good and she has an impressive knowledge and enthusiasm about the colombian history. She also told us about her own story when we asked her and she was very open and i was impressed by her lifestory and how she fighted to be where she is now. It was very interesting and also fun to walk theough the streets with her almost like walking theough the streets wirh a local friend. Thank you for your time, Katerine we wish you all the best!!

A meaningful tour with an authentic insider.

Our guide had exceptional insight into the culture of Getsemani as someone who grew up there and continues to live and operate a business there. Furthermore, he is director of the neighborhood action committee that fights gentrification and agitates to provide affordable housing and workspaces for residents. As such, he is knowledgeable in the sociopolitical dynamics of cultural and historical preservation and revitalization. The guide is kind, patient, and full of humor. We found the tour to be both meaningful and enjoyable.
