A tram ticket (30czk) is needed for the tour – if you cannot buy before, please arrive early to ask your guide for help. Like all free castle tours, we will explore inside the castle complex but not the paid museums.

Great information before actually paying for a ticket

Seb did a great job sharing interesting details about the history of the castle. He adapted beautifully when the trams got backed up.

Vendula was excellent!

Our group turned out to be very small, only four people. But our guide Vendula still worked very hard and made this tour interesting and pleasant. We truly enjoyed her presentation and spent 2.5 incredible hours.

Castle, but removed Strahov Monastery

Our tour was to include an outside only castle & castle gardens tour as well as the Strahov monastery, the monastery was the main reason this tour was chosen. After starting we were told that we would only visit the castle. The other couple agreed, however I did not feel this was acceptable. I am hopeful all tours going forward will provide access/information to all sites listed in the tour description. We enjoyed our tour, but were sorry we did not get to go to the monastery.
