On this tour, we will immerse ourselves in Prague's darkest period of history, which lasted from 1938 to 1989—the Nazi occupation and the subsequent period of Communism.

Through stories of courage and hope, you will learn about the Holocaust and the fate of the Jewish people in Prague, the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich during Operation Anthropoid, the Czechoslovak coup d'état, and the rise of Communism.

We will show you the Dancing House, where the Valentine's Day bombing took place; the street where the Velvet Revolution started; as well as the place where the brave student Jan Palach set himself on fire.

We do not accept groups of more than 8 people! Those who refuse to split or prepay won't be admitted, even with an active reservation.

Informative Tour

Our guide was Kuba. He is very knowledgeable and could explain complexe historical events interesting and understandable. We learnt a lot about Czech history. I could definitely recommend the tour.

Excellent and Informative

Our guide was an historian, and you could tell she really enjoyed sharing her knowledge. I gained a deeper understanding of Czech resistance under the Nazis and during the Cold War. I highly recommend this tour.

Great insight

Did this tour today. Was very informative and interesting. Was three hours long but time went quickly as tour was well delivered and always interesting. For those interested in history and getting to know more about Prague I would definitely recommend.

Very good and informative tour!!

Kuba was our guide - and a very good one! He was extremely good at presenting some pretty complex material in a very intertaining and understandable way. (And good english). He showed pictures during the tour, which was super helpful for the understanding. Definetely recommend this tour!
