Description

During this tour, we will get to know the city of Cuenca from the inside. We walk through the hidden places of this city, and we will combine it with quality information from the City and Ecuador.

We will enter old colonial houses and see every detail with our own eyes. In addition, these houses are very beautiful and nice, especially for quality photos.

We will visit the Ecuadorian hat museum, and we will have the opportunity to learn about their making process, along with a current demonstration of hat making.

On our tour, we will have the opportunity to try and taste organic Netherlands-style cheese combined with various spices and flavors, an organic quality coffee or chocolate, where we will see how they grind the coffee at that exact time. We will have the opportunity to visit several of the most beautiful houses in Cuenca . At the end of our tour we will visit a brewery where we can buy Ecuadorian craft beer and be able to drink it in the same place.

We will enjoy getting to know Cuenca differently in a short time. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Fabulous Cuenca Historic Center Tour

From the beginning of the tour we instantly liked our guide Tomas. He was a wealth of information and we loved his sense of humour. We cannot recommend his tour enough to anyone coming to Cuenca. Tasting local Ecuadorian cheese and enjoying a local coffee and traditional deserts in a gorgeous cafe were highlights. The 4.5 hours flew by and we met some lovely fellow tourists before sharing an amazing lunch at a restaurant serving delicious Ecuadorian food. Tomas, this has been our favourite tour in Latin America - muchas gracias to you ????????????????????

Great tour

Thomas has great english and we really enjoyed tbis tour! Saw so many places we would never have seen! His wealth of knowledge makes the tour very interesting and I’d highly recommend it! Please be mindful that he is also trying to make a living and you should be tipping at least $10pp, we witnessed this not happening which made us really sad as the person in question informed us that she enjoyed the tour.

Thomas did a fantastic job of showing us the historic parts of Cuenca. Not hurried and filled with interesting information. It was around 3 hours with an ending point at an excellent restaurant that we decided to try. Not a disappointment.
