Description

Step into the heart of Tallinn and discover a city where medieval history meets modern innovation.

Join us for a relaxed walking tour through Tallinn's UNESCO-listed Old Town and uncover the stories, legends, and characters that shaped Estonia's capital. Wander through medieval streets and historic squares while learning how Tallinn grew from a Hanseatic trading city into the vibrant capital you see today.

We will explore some of Tallinn's most fascinating landmarks, including Viru Gate, Town Hall Square, St. Catherine's Passage, the medieval city walls, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Toompea Castle, the Danish King's Garden and Toompea Hill. We will also visit viewpoints offering beautiful views over the Old Town's red rooftops and towers. Along the way, you'll hear stories about medieval merchants, craftsmen, guilds, local traditions, foreign rule, Soviet-era Estonia and the country's journey to independence.

But Tallinn's story doesn't end in the Middle Ages. We will also look at how Estonia transformed into one of Europe's most digitally advanced societies.

The tour was very good and QADRI (our guide) was very knowledgeful and she has an excellent knowledge to the Tallinn and Estonia History. It was a bit raining, but she never hesitated to take us to all the places as per the Tour Itinerary and fulfilled it completely. i would recommend this tour to all the tourists and the visitors.

Tour old town

Great tour. Guide knows a lot about the city, adapted to our pace and took time to show the points in the most organised manner, tour was paced and not feeling rushed. We enjoyed a lot and learned a lot about the city.

Informative tour

Gbemi is an informed and enthusiastic guide. We learned and saw a great deal in 2.5 hrs that we wouldn’t have accomplished on our own. Gbemi weaves history and local legends together in a way that is well-organized and very fun!
