When vsiting the museum with our guide, Aly Elsheemy, it was possible to understand and admire the highlights and get information about fundamental aspects of Egyptology and ancient Egyptian civilization. We can rightfully tell that he enjoys sharing his knowledge, which is huge and vast, and he is a very kind person. Aspects that we also liked are the ease of communicating with this team, punctuality, good organization and having a great driver. Very satisfied with everything. If we went back to Egypt we would, without hesitation, book with him again.

Old Egyptian museum

We were lucky enough to have Ali as our guide for the old Egyptian museum yesterday. Not only did he give us a brilliant tour around the museum, he sat us down for a very informative chat beforehand about the time before the Old Kingdom . Once inside, we were treated to the most interesting and informative guided tour we have ever had in Egypt . We had been to the same museum many years ago, but had missed out on so much detail before. His friendliness and obvious enthusiasm for the history of Egypt was amazing. We just wished we had been lucky enough to have had Ali on the other tours we had taken earlier in the week ….. it makes everything so much better with a good guide.
