Alcalá World Heritage Site Tour

Welcome to Alcalá de Henares!

With local, native, and certified guides, you’ll discover a city with over 2,000 years of history. We’ll explore the world’s first university town, designed by Cardinal Cisneros; the coexistence of the “Three Cultures” in Alcalá; and, of course, the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes.

We’ll start at Plaza de las Bernardas, a quiet spot, from where we’ll explore the Historic District. We’ll save the University for last… like the climax of a good novel! All with fun facts, entertaining explanations, and a final game.

Important note! For the best experience, tours are limited to 20 people and are subject to the monuments’ opening hours:

· 10:00 a.m. – We’ll enter the Cervantes Birthplace Museum.
· 12:00 p.m. – We’ll enter the Oidor Chapel.
· 4:00 p.m. – We’ll enter the Oidor Chapel.
· 6:00 p.m. – Due to the monuments’ closing times, we’ll enjoy the tour from the outside.
