Description

We will meet next to the sculpture of Pedro Menéndez de Avilés. Did you know this Spanish military man played a fundamental role in North America in the 18th century? The visit will also take us to Aviles' estuary. In addition to enjoying its incredible views, we will explain the importance of this area during the Second Industrial Revolution.

Of course, we will go to the emblematic Plaza de España, from where we can admire the Town Hall and the Ferrera Palace, one of the oldest baroque buildings in Asturias. Éramos un grupo de seis y a todos nos sorprendió Avilés, calles con encanto y plazas con edificios monumentales. Una pena que haya mucho local comercial cerrado. Muy recomendable.

FANTÁSTICO

Tour de aproximadamente 2h donde hemos podido conocer parte de la ciudad de Avilés y de su historia. La guía ha sido Diandra que ha explicado con gran amor y entusiasmo cada rincón de la ciudad. Ha sido un placer visitar la ciudad y poder escuchar las explicaciones de Diandra y sin duda lo recomendamos 100%. No esperábamos llevarnos un a impresión tan buena de la ciudad y sin duda nos vamos de ella con ganas de recomendarla a todos los que visiten Asturias.
