A fantastic and informative tour

This Spanish Civil War tour is fantastic. It was informative, well delivered, and really tied the geography of the city to its history. The guide was also very good at explaining the legacy of the war and its effects on Spanish society. This was a brilliant tour from a talented guide!

Franci Dictatorship

The tour was full of information on the civil war, Franco's dictatorship and the people of Catalonia. Our guide was very good. if you are a history buff, then this is your tour. A lot of information was given in a 2 1/2 hours. Be ready to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Though but necessary

I wanna thank Javier for his time explaining something that hard as the dictatorship I know that talking about that can be really exhausting and touch many fibers. We learn how it began, how was life during that period and the return to democracy. He was also really funny and caring about the whole tour.

Fantastic tour with Evangelos

We have done lots of walking tours in different cities around Europe, but this was the best one we have been one. Evangelos was incredibly insightful, prepared and just an overall great guide. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this tour!

Learned so much about this difficult time in Spain. The guide, Filipa, is well informed and passionate about the topic. An interesting angle are the stories of people who lived through Franco’s tumultuous reign. Highly recommend.
