Our Free Tour of Cádiz will take you through the most emblematic places of the city. Cádiz is the oldest city in the West. According to Greek mythology, it was founded by Hercules just after he separated Europe and Africa with his bare hands to accomplish his tenth work.

Throughout history, many ancient civilizations have gone through “the little silver cup”: Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, and Romans. From here, the ships of the Americas departed and arrived, and its port keeps the history of battles between large fleets, and it is the city where our first Constitution “La Pepa” was born.

Great tour!

We were visiting from a cruise ship and wanted a short tour of Cadiz before wandering around and trying a local restaurant. Our guide was great, she was very knowledgeable about the local history and answered many questions. We also had a really great conversation on sustainable tourism in Spain, which we really appreciated, coming from a huge cruise ship!
