Description

Explore Córdoba’s Mosque-Cathedral, one of the most visited monuments in Spain. Its construction Began in the 8th century and it became the second-largest mosque in the world.

On this 2-hour guided tour you’ll discover the interior that features a forest of columns along with double arches, the Maqsura, the Mihrab and the impressive chorus located close to the Mayor Chapel.

In the 13th century, under Ferdinand III, the mosque was converted into a Catholic cathedral.

Highly recommended! Watch out who you book the tour with…

I am Jewish, and know a lot about the history of the Jewish community in Spain, but I still learned a lot from the guide. She was knowledgeable, went deeper than I expected, and even challenging us, in a good way, like a good teacher. Covered aspects of the three religions and how they affected each other. Highly recommended! The other thing… I bought the ticket through Oway tours, and paid 37 euros. But then it became a trip with Free Tours. I don’t know if I fell for a scam… what I know is that I would have preferred to tip the guide with a large hand!
