Free Tour Legends and Mysteries of Las Palmas

Our tour begins next to the bust of Christopher Columbus, in front of the parish of San Francisco de Asis, where we will take the first steps towards the darkest and most fascinating side of Vegueta with our official guides.

From there we will go to the Professional Conservatory of Music, a building where, according to legend, you can still hear Lucas, the ghost that roams its corridors at nightfall. In the Plaza de San Antonio Abad we will relive the dramatic end of Pedro de Algaba, first governor of the island, before continuing to the Plaza del Pilar Nuevo, where you will learn about the legend of Princess Tenesoya and the clash between two worlds. The Plaza de San Agustin will reveal apparitions, pirate attacks and plagues, while in the Plaza de Santa Ana the Tibicenas and the secrets of the Cathedral await us.
