Local Life, Traditions & Soul of Las Palmas Tour

Do you want to discover Las Palmas beyond the sun and the beach? Come with me to experience the true essence of Gran Canaria!

We will start our walk through the emblematic Triana Street, the commercial and modernist heart of the city. Here I will tell you how our most ancient customs mix with the daily hustle and bustle of a capital city. From there, we will cross the border of time to enter the beautiful cobblestone streets of Vegueta, the neighborhood where the modern history of the island began.

The highlight will be the historic Vegueta Market. I will reveal its origins and we will immerse ourselves in its colors and smells to talk about our most authentic food. You will discover what gofio is, the secret of a good mojo and, most importantly: I will tell you where we Canarians go to eat a good sandwich or to "enyescar" on the weekend.

Don't expect a boring history class. We will talk about popular festivals, hidden corners and daily life. If you want to feel like a Canarian and get the best local recommendations? Reserve your place, I'll be waiting for you!
