Description

Discover Ourense through three elements that perfectly capture the city’s identity: its hot springs, its history, and its culinary traditions.

Hot Springs
We’ll start in As Burgas, one of Ourense’s most iconic spots, to learn about the importance of its hot springs since ancient times and understand why the city has always been so closely tied to hot water.

History
We’ll continue through the historic district, exploring squares, streets, and hidden corners that will help us discover medieval Ourense. We’ll discuss its ancient city gates, episcopal power, and the Cathedral of San Martiño, one of Galicia’s greatest architectural treasures.

Cuisine
We’ll also pass through the Os Viños district, one of the city’s liveliest areas, where we’ll discuss the importance of wines, tapas, and some Galician products, with recommendations for continuing to enjoy Ourense after the tour.

A comprehensive and enjoyable tour to explore the history, heritage, and local life of Ourense.
