There is no shortage of people who shamelessly claim that Santa Cruz de Tenerife is not "so much". Fortunately, they could not be more wrong because it is "for a lot". And in this tour we are going to prove it!

From a port of humble fishermen to the capital of the island, Santa Cruz keeps countless stories in its streets. In this guided tour we will discover many of them, starring pirates, generals and chicharreros on foot. An enjoyable 2-hour route that will fly by. We promise.

The starting point will be the Plaza de España and we will visit the following stops:

- Plaza de España

- Interpretation Center of the Castle of San Cristobal

- Church of La Concepción

- Santos Ravine

- La Noria Street

- Isla de la Madera Square

- Chicharro Square

- Prince of Asturias Square

- San Francisco Church

- Candelaria Square

Why do the locals call themselves "chicharreros"? What are the "escaldón de gofio" and the "pleito insular"? Why did the parish priest of the city write to the Pope? And why is Carnival not only a celebration in this city, but it goes much further?

Jesus was our guide. A very likeable and knowledgeable person. He made the tour educational, interesting, and fun. He kept to the schedule and was in constant communication with the group immediately prior yo the tour srart which gelped everyone be there in time.
