Informative, interesting and well researched

Samuel had a wealth of interesting stories and knew a lot about Spanish history and Toledo - he was good at separating history from myth and giving us plenty to think about. We were given a really good picture of the interaction between the different cultures and eras of Spain and how difficult it is to actually untangle them from each other in Toledo. Really enjoyed talking to him in between guide bits, too.

Estefania‘s Toledo cake

The tour was diverse and fascinating. The layers of a cake have taken on a new meaning for me. Estefania is knowledgeable, organised and muy sympathico.

Brilliant overview and detail of Toledo

Stephanie is energetic, knowledgeable and witty. She took us through all the historic and cultural monuments of Toledo. She was receptive to questions (god knows we asked a lot of them) and handled a biggish group of 10-13 people very well.

Excellent introduction

An excellent introduction to the complex history of Toledo by a local historian. No promotion of storytelling but a serious attempt to go behind centuries of myths and glorification of the Spanish history.

Illuminating walk through Toledo

Our guide, Estefania, conveyed her own fascination with the history of Toledo with skill and enthusiasm. She covered the breadth of two millennia and several dominant cultures in just under 2 hours, keeping the group engaged throughout. Toledo a Pie was a memorable walk through history with an insightful and friendly guide.
