Free Tour Valencia: In the Footsteps of Illustrious Women

This route aims to vindicate the role of some of the many women who have contributed either to the economic and cultural development of the city or have left a great mark in the arts, such as poetry, painting, or singing.

They were women whose work or social or political influence was often invisibilized and silenced by those who hold power and write history, mostly men. We will visit the places in the city where women like the great diva of the copla, Concha Piquer, or the great promoter of culture and minister, Carmen Alborch, lived and worked to make the world a more beautiful and cultured place.
