I am Sonia, and I graduated in art history and as an official guide. Born in Valencia, it will be a privilege to show you my city!

I will explain to you the origins of Valencia and the different walled enclosures that the city has had. We will admire the spectacular Plaza de la Virgen and the fountain. Also, this square hosts a ceremony declared World Heritage.

The place where the current cathedral stands is the fruit of the passage of time of various previous cultures and religions, including Roman, visigothics, Muslim and Jewish.

Will arrive at the Torres de Serranos. This spectacular view represents the main entrance of the ancient city.

We will continue walking along the old and stately Caballeros Street, where the beautiful church of San Nicolás is located.

Also, we will see the Lonja de la Seda (UNESCO) and the Central Market, a wonderful example of Valencian modernist architecture.

We will advance to the curious Plaza Redonda.

And finally we will arrive to the Plaza de la Reina, where we will explain that Valencia guards a treasure: the Holy Chalice...

Hicimos el recorrido a pie por el centro histórico con Sonia y la experiencia fue de diez. Sonia es una guía encantadora, muy cercana y con un conocimiento increíble de la ciudad. Nos explicó la historia de la Catedral, la Lonja de la Seda y el Barrio del Carmen de forma muy amena, sin aburrir con datos vacíos y respondiendo a todas nuestras dudas.
