Discover Vigo with a Local Guide

I invite you to join me on a friendly, 2-hour guided walking tour to discover the history, traditions, and secrets of Galicia’s largest city with an official local guide.

We’ll start at Plaza de Compostela, the elegant tree-lined promenade in the city center, before heading into the Casco Vello, the historic district with its charming narrow streets. We’ll pass through Plaza de la Princesa, admire the famous Sireno, and discuss the evolution of Vigo, its port, and its close connection to the ocean.

Throughout the tour, I’ll share local anecdotes, interesting facts, and legends. We’ll also explore Monte do Castro, the city’s birthplace, with the option to climb up to San Sebastián Castle to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the ria (additional time required).

We’ll continue on to the Plaza de la Constitución, the Berbés neighborhood—Vigo’s former maritime heart—and then the Mercado da Pedra, before finishing at the Náutico overlooking the ria.

At the end of the tour, I’ll take you to an iconic bar overlooking the ria, where you can enjoy a drink and a tapa at a special rate.
