You’ll also stop at London’s only Sherlock Holmes Pub, a highlight for fans of the great sleuth.

No prior knowledge is needed — the tour includes locations used in Sherlock Holmes film and TV adaptations, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey Jr., and Jeremy Brett. Along the way, learn about Conan Doyle’s life, his friendship with Oscar Wilde, and his surprising belief in the paranormal.

Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the tour, with our guide Ben making the talk enthusiastic and full of fascinating details that covered all aspects of Sherlock from Arthur Conan Doyle's inspirations, the books themselves and the many TV and film adaptions of Sherlock regularly pointing out filming locations and facts. The walk itself was a great route as it included some famous central spots but also lead to quieter locations away from the main tourist crowds. The tour was accessible to all levels of interest, as facts were explained not needing any prior understanding of the plots, whilst also giving plenty of information that was new to me as a long term fan. I especially liked the insight into Victorian Britain, learning about the context of the time and seeing some beautiful architecture. I would go again and highly recommend the company and our guide ????

Sherlock Holmes Tour
