Christmas in London is a magical thing!

On this evening walk through the West End, you’ll see the lights, markets and decorations at their best, and find out where it all came from. Why does Norway send London a giant tree every year? Who sent the first Christmas card? How did a London sweet maker come up with the cracker, and how did turkey end up on the table?

Along the way there’s Charles Dickens and A Christmas Carol, the first ever Peter Pan, the history of the pantomime, and the year Oliver Cromwell cancelled Christmas altogether. We’ll also pass a few spots from your favourite festive films.

Our guides are actors and performers, so expect proper storytelling and plenty of laughs. It’s great for families, couples, friends or anyone on their own looking for something festive to do in London.

The tour finishes near Covent Garden, about 10 minutes from the angels on Regent Street and the lights of Carnaby Street, so you can carry on your own Christmas lights trail afterwards.
