Description

Athens is a city where mythology is still alive. With our free tour you will discover how the gods are still part of everyday life among ancient ruins and streets full of charm. Together with an expert guide, you will learn to see the Greek capital not only as a modern city, but as a stage where myth and history intertwine.

The tour starts at Korai Square and continues to the Academy of Athens, guarded by Athena and Apollo. From there we will proceed to Syntagma Square and then to Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Zeus, the bridge between the Athens of Theseus and the Roman Athens. We will stroll through Plaka to the Lantern of Lysicrates and the Roman Agora, dominated by Hermes and Aphrodite.

We will cross the Gate of Athena Archeguétida before ascending to the Areopagus, the scene of divine and human trials. In front of us will appear the Acropolis, with the Parthenon, the Erechtheion or the Propylaea, and in the lower area, the Temple of Hephaestus. A unique experience to discover how, in Athens, the gods have never left.
