Description

Our Greek Philosophy Tour of Athens begins next to the Church of Agios Filippos in Monastiraki. We’ll head towards the Ancient Agora, the heart of ancient Athens, where we’ll explore its role in public life and discover how Socrates challenged the beliefs of his time.

Next, we’ll visit the Areopagus, an important site for ancient justice and politics, also associated with one of Saint Paul’s most famous speeches.

We’ll continue to the Prison of Socrates to learn about his trial, final days, and lasting impact on philosophy. Then, we’ll climb Pnyx Hill, the birthplace of Athenian democracy, and enjoy panoramic views of the city.

Finally, we’ll head to Kerameikos, an ancient burial ground that invites us to reflect on life, death, and human existence.

After two and a half hours, our philosophical journey through Athens will come to an end.
