We’ll explore the city’s Plaza Mayor, learning about its history and interesting facts; then we’ll head to the Royal Palace of the Captains. Heading toward the Cathedral, we’ll go to the area behind it to walk along the Tanque de la Unión, which served as the public washhouse during the colonial era.

Afterward, we’ll walk along Calle del Carmen, visit a local crafts shop, and then head to the main street at the Arco de Santa Catalina to see the Church of La Merced. We’ll walk for two hours while sharing stories about the city and its points of interest.
