What we will explore:

- The Heart of Rijeka: we start at the iconic Jadran Square (Jadranski Trg), stroll along the vibrant Korzo promenade, pass under the City Clock Tower, and step through the ancient Roman Arch to discover St. Vitus Cathedral.

- Myths & Legends: who was Carolina of Rijeka, and how did she save the city? Was Al Capone’s mother really running a business from here? Get ready for the most intriguing local secrets!

- The Mystic Trsat: we will embrace the spiritual heritage of the city and enjoy a scenic path towards the Trsat Castle, where the Frankopan noble family ruled centuries ago.

Important Notes:
Please book the tour at least two hours before the start time.

Shoes: Wear comfortable shoes! Rijeka is a city of steps, especially as we conquer the Petar Kružić stairs towards Trsat. It is also recommended to bring water bottles.

Additional costs: Admission to Trsat Castle is €3 for adults and €1.50 for students, pensioners, and children aged 7 to 18. Admission is free for children under the age of 7.

Fantastic tour

Informative abd enjoyable

A "must-do" in Rijeka, which on the surface is rather underwhelming. Natanel's knowledgee combined with local pride delivers a lot of information and sheds light on otherwise unknown facets of Rijeka's past. Excellent tour!

What a fantastic Historian Guide!

Natanael being local and a historian, knows Rijeka’s & the interesting regional history. He also has great pictures to accompany historical events that happened in the city. We came out of this tour knowing so much, which is rare for free walking tours and made it unique! Great Job Natanael!
