In this 1.30-hour walk, you will discover my city's magnificent and interesting history.

You will discover the history of Split from its beginnings to the present day. We will cover the magnificent period from the 3rd century to the 19th century when Italians, French, and Austro-Hungarians ruled Split, one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean.
Of course, I must explain the Balkan War, our customs, our way of life, and most recent achievements and changes.

With me, you will have an unforgettable experience and see Split with different eyes! :)

ABOUT ME:

Licensed local guide and traveler who loves meeting people from all around the world. Except in Split, where I grew up, I lived in other cities in Croatia and Spain. I've studied French and Italian language and literature, and my curiosity has always led me towards history, reading about other cultures, and traveling. So, I enjoy the mix I can offer as a guide, speaking in your language and telling you the history of my hometown.

It was a very informative tour with a small group which is always nice. At the end she even gave recommendations with a map copy for each of us!

Amazing split

Ivana was a great guide,knowledgeable, informative and patient.she gave us so much information about the Diocletian palace throgh different gates which was impossible on our own.

Lovely time in an ancient city with an awesome guide!

Ivana's tour was super fun and interesting. She has a charming personality. Not only we covered historical topics while walking in the old town but she also provided us with information of Croatian daily life. Ivana also gave us some practical tips for the best beaches around and places to eat like locals do! We loved her tour!
