Our walking tour of Galway with Emily was delivered with knowledge and a sense of pride in the city’s history, but most of all, great humour and a lot of fun. Emily, you’re a fantatic tour guide, but I want to see a teddy bear of you in the museum after your term as the next President of Ireland to hail from Galway comes to an end!

Galway City History
Our appreciation of the history of Galway City was enhanced by our guided walking tour this morning. Our guide, Emily, provided us with a well constructed snapshot of the development of the City of Galway from the arrival of the Celts up until the present time. Her stories were also amusing at times, providing us with a balanced view of events that left their mark on Galway. We have no hesitation recommending this walking tour to visitors to Galway.
