We're a small, local collection of Tour Guides who try to mix history, legend, conversation, laughter and our own idiosyncrasies into one eventful walk around Galway City.

Galway is a city of arts, theatre, history, and storytelling, and we will show you all these sides of our city. We will walk around the old medieval city and try to tell and debunk as many myths and legends as we can!

The tour will also unfold Irish history from a west coast perspective and explain Galway's place in Ireland. Lastly, the tour is a great way to orient oneself in the city and find out about what else besides the main attractions the city has to offer. In a city of festivals, a local guide can come in quite handy in dispensing this information!

We will visit all the following sites and talk about their place in Galway's past and present:

Great tour!

Oisin was a great guide, combining humour, knowledge and storytelling to bring the history of the area to life. Definitely worth taking the tour to get an introduction to Galway and some of the key sites around town!

Galway Guided Tour

Our guided tour through Galway was excellent as it included historical as well as temporary knowledge. I especially liked that our guide, Jerry, included also personal views and opinions and recommendations on where to eat and what to do. We can only recommend this tour to everyone.

Great informative tour!

Ana did give her best to provide as many information as possible in the short tour through Galway. She gave a lot of historical backgound about Ireland, filled it with some funny stories and gave great advice for the further stay in Ireland. The tour could even last a bit longer to receive more information about Galway and Ireland.

Enjoyable guide to Galway

Aisling made a very good job of keeping us informed and entertained for 90 minutes, she can certainly tell a story! Being a medium sized town there are only a limited number of monuments etc. to talk about but there is plenty of history and folklore thrown in. Would definitely recommend.
