I welcome you to the "Prison of the Three Lakes", founded by the Etruscans in the 5th century BC. We will travel to discover its history, the family that ruled it for 400 years, its legends, traditions, and anecdotes.

We will start from Piazza Sordello, dedicated to the troubadour Sordello da Goito mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy, where the first settlement dating back to Etruscan times was born, we will continue by immersing ourselves in the streets and squares of the historic center: its administrative center Piazza Broletto with the Palazzo del Podestà and the mysterious and Shakespearean Sottoportico dei Lattonai, Piazza delle Erbe with the Palazzo della Ragione, the Torre dell'Orologio with its astronomical clock and the Rotonda di San Lorenzo until we reach the Co-Cathedral Basilica of S. Andrea, a jubilee church, custodian of the relics of the Precious Blood of Christ

Abbiamo partecipato il 27 agosto alla visita guidata del centro storico di Mantova con la signora Eleonora. La visita si è rivelata molto interessante ed esaustiva. Eleonora oltre ad essere molto chiara ha risposto anche a tutte le nostre curiosità e domande integrando in modo puntuale ogni spiegazione con aneddoti interessanti.
