Description

Hello food lovers! Want to experience Palermo's authentic street food at a local restaurant? We've got you covered!
Join us for a relaxing and intriguing exploration of the best street food selections of the day. The gastronomic adventure takes place in the city center, in the old port area of La Cala-Vucciria market, Kalsa. We'll take you to our favorite food vendors, mostly run by the same families for decades.

We'll share stories behind each dish and the secrets of our mothers' recipes. We'll share the history of Palermo through its food, from the herbs brought by the Arabs to the rich dishes introduced by the Spanish.
You'll taste real Sicilian street food and drinks: Arancini, Panelle, Crocchè, Pani ca' meusa, Cannoli and other bites unknown to tourists.

Food Notes: Vegetarian/pescatarian options are available at most locations. Not suitable for vegans or gluten/dairy-sensitive travelers.
Food and drinks are at your own expense. You will pay the vendor directly on-site. Most vendors accept credit cards, but we suggest bringing some cash to tip your guide.

Amazing time with Obi Vince Kenobi

We were very happy with tour because Obi Vince Kenobi is amazing guide ,but for our taste we were lacking more meat options. Yes there is splin sandwich but that's not really meat but intestines. I would advise to add a place where people could try Involtini or mangia e bevi which are great Sicilian dishes recommended from Marko.

So much fun

The guide Vinz was amazing, so enthousiatic and passionate about his craft. I went alone as the only one in my group but I had a good time. He told us a lot of interesting fun facts about the history of food and places we passed by on the tour. I can certainly recommend taking this food tour to everyone who wants to try local food.

Local drinks & food Tour

Dario was a great guide, he had a lot of things to say about the city and its food. He also had some superb tips on where to get food & drinks during and after the tour. Overall a very good experience to get our vacation in Palermo started.

Amazing tour!

Obi Vinz Kenobi was a great guide. We have done many walking tours before and Vinz is by far the best guide we met, he’s got such a positive energy, tells great stories and took us to some great places. Learned much more than where to go for good snacks and we recommend this tour to everyone who wants to explore Palermo and have some fun!

The Real Taste of Palermo with Vince

Last Sunday, I joined the Palermo Street Food Walking Tour led by Vince, and it was the highlight of my time in Sicily. He took us to several authentic local spots where we tried a variety of genuine Sicilian street food crispy arancini, fresh panelle, perfectly filled cannoli and many others. Every stop felt like a real local find, far from the usual tourist traps. What truly made the tour special was Vince himself. He’s incredibly cheerful and friendly, leading the group with genuine passion and that classic Italian energy. Between bites, he shared fascinating stories about Palermo’s history and fun local trivia that kept everyone laughing and engaged. He finished the experience with his signature dance - a joyful, unforgettable finale. If you want to discover Palermo through its food and culture with a guide who feels like a fun local friend, definitely book this tour. It’s authentic, delicious, and entertaining from start to finish.
