Description

We will start our walk in the symbol of the Roman Empire: the great Colosseum. From the outside, we will discover the secrets of one of the most famous monuments in the world.

We will continue towards the heart of the capital of the Ancient World: the Imperial Forums. Along the Via de los Foros Imperiales we can admire the remains of the city center.

We will start with the Forum of Peace, we will continue towards the Republican Forum and from there we will move to the forums built by the most outstanding Roman emperors: the Forum of Caesar, the Forum of Nerva, the Forum of Augustus, and, the largest of all them: Trajan's Forum.

We will arrive at the center of the current Italian capital: Venice Square. Here we will witness another work at the level of imperial constructions, but from contemporary times: the Altar of the Fatherland.

Finally, we will go up to one of the most important squares: Piazza del Campidoglio, famous for being the work of the great Michelangelo during the Renaissance and for containing the Capitoline Museums and the Rome City Hall.

Roma Imperial vale 100% la pena!!!

Es la segunda vez que visitamos Roma y queríamos profundizar con un poco de historia. Nuestro guía fue Leo, un genio total. Es historiador y sabe muchísimo. Nos ha contado detalles espectaculares sobre la historia de esta hermosa ciudad. Lo recomiendo 100% y gracias Leo por toda la información que nos brindaste!!!

Un guía excepcional para descubrir la Roma Imperial

Hicimos el free tour de Roma Imperial con Álvaro y salimos encantados con la experiencia. Es un guía muy didáctico, cercano y tremendamente preparado, capaz de explicar un periodo histórico tan amplio y complejo de una forma clara, entretenida y muy amena. Se nota desde el primer momento que tiene muchísimo conocimiento sobre la Roma Imperial y, sobre todo, que disfruta compartiéndolo. Sus explicaciones tienen contenido y rigor, pero sin hacerse pesadas en ningún momento. Aporta contexto, curiosidades y detalles que ayudan a entender realmente lo que estás viendo, y transmite una pasión por la historia que hace que el tour se disfrute todavía más. Como pequeño consejo, especialmente para quienes hagan el tour en los meses de más calor, recomendamos llevar una botella o cantimplora con agua fría. En comparación con otros recorridos por Roma, durante este itinerario se pasa por menos fuentes públicas de agua potable. Quizá, cuando sea posible, incluir alguna parada junto a una de ellas para rellenar las botellas haría todavía más cómodo el recorrido en pleno verano. En cualquier caso, es simplemente una recomendación práctica: nuestra valoración de Álvaro y del tour es excelente. Totalmente recomendable para quien quiera conocer la Roma Imperial de la mano de alguien que sabe muchísimo y, además, sabe explicarlo.
