More off the beaten track
A nice experience a tad more off the beaten track than your usual tokyo guided tour. I highly recommend if you want something a bit less crowded and touristy.

Friendly, Fun Tour
My teen and I had a wonderful time discovering the vast shopping of Nakano Broadway. The guide provided interesting tidbits of history, looked for some specific anime titles, and was very friendly.

Worth It Just for the Retro Merchandise
I thought the tour was decent. I'm not into Anime. I was just curious and wanted to have a look All my questions were answered. If the guides didn't know, they would ask store owners. I kept an open mind. The guide and volunteers were very helpful. I wanted to see if there was anything related to Spectreman for the nostalgia, and there was. I needed a translator, and one of the volunteers was there to assist. Unfortunately, the only Spectreman item was about $250, which was too much. The other store had an action figure, but it had been sold. I tried the ice cream shop in the basement called Daily Chiko, which has 8 flavors, and they didn't disappoint. I only tried four-vanilla, chocolate, soda, and grape. The grape was the best. The soda tasted like bubble gum. If you love grape drink, you'll love this. Accommodations had to be made since a disabled person was in our group, but it was understandable. I don't think anyone had a problem with it. We had a small group. We were allowed to split up if we wanted and just meet at a designated time. I was just happy to finally find a place in Japan that had Spectreman memorabilia. There were tons of bars outside the mall and even an arcade in the basement. There was something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, it was a good vibe.

Great and well organized tour
We had a great tour with Hiro. The tour is very informative and you get to know corners of Tokyo, where you feel that they are mainly visited by locals. You get some new information at hand and can ask all the questions you have. Hiro creates a pleasant atmosphere, we would definitely do the tour again!
